Workplace Benefits Renaissance 2007 Main Page

The people and organizations involved in the sales and service of Workplace Benefits have a premier opportunity to network and learn at the Workplace Benefits Renaissance Meeting to be held on the corner of Bourbon and Canal Street in the heart of the French Quarter at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel, New Orleans, La. The dates are February 13, 14, & 15, 2007.

This will be the 10th Benefits Renaissance Meeting, but the first under the “Workplace Benefits Association” label. Expected attendance is 125 of the leading Workplace Benefit vendors and 800 total workplace benefit consultants.

“The new structure of our organization calls for a new meeting structure” said Walter B. Podgurski. “We wanted a configuration that maximizes the benefits of attending this kind of event for both sponsors and attendees, and devised a system that we believe is truly unique. Sponsors and Exhibitors will have the opportunity to build their own program from a menu of options.”

“For example, an organization can choose between a table-top or 8’x10” booth, they can choose to make a presentation in a large room or a small room, they can choose to host a breakfast, lunch or reception, they can choose to just make a presentation, just exhibit, or do all of the above."

There are 8 break-out rooms and 7 presentation sessions scheduled during the conference. That means there is the potential for 56 talks / lectures. "This arrangement not only allows the sponsors and exhibitors the opportunity to place their subject matter expert in front of an interested and qualified audience, but it allows the attendees to completely personalize their agenda because they will be able to choose from 8 presentations 7 different times."

"The one thing we haven't changed is that licensed agents still register two for the price of one. This has worked well in the past because it increases the ratio of agents to vendors at our events."
