Willis Benefits of North America
Background:
Mr. Stephens assists in the setting and
implementing the strategic direction for the
Employee Benefits Practice in North America. He
is responsible for carrier relationships,
process and policy establishment and contributes
to the development of the sale philosophy of the
Employee Benefits practice at Willis. In
addition to his national responsibilities Mr.
Stephens is responsible for the management of
current client relationships and the development
of new client relationships.
Work Experience:
Mr. Stephens has 20 years of experience in
employee benefits. Prior to his employ with
Willis, Mr. Stephens has held positions with
responsibilities in all aspects of employee
benefits. He has worked for a major insurance
carrier, as an Employee Benefits Manager for a
large multi-site manufacturing firm with 4,000
employees and as a Senior Consultant with a
competing Employee Benefits Consulting firm.
Industry Leadership:
Mr. Stephens serves on numerous executive level
carrier advisory counsels, helping to shape the
industry in the area of product development and
delivery. He is a regular speaker at industry
events and has contribute articles to industry
publications.
He is also an officer in the Orlando chapter of
Certified Employee Benefits Specialists.
Education:
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business
Administration, with concentrations in Computer
Information Systems and Accounting from Bryant
College in Smithfield, RI. Mr. Stephens holds
the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist
designation from the International Society of
Employee Benefits Specialists and the Wharton
Business School. |
