Wayne Goshkarian, EZ Meds USA Wayne Goshkarian has been in the insurance industry since December 1977 and founded and President of AGB Insurance Services, a benefits consulting company founded in 1990 and located in Phoenix, Arizona.

Mr. Goshkarian has been a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters since 1985, and the National Association of Life Underwriters since 1990. He has won many industry awards, and has qualified for others including the MDRT Round Table and Top of the Table. He has generated over 8 million in total commissions from 1990 to 2000 from his worksite marketing clients.

Mr. Goshkarian has been a featured speaker at industry conferences including, NAPES and MI2. In addition Wayne has contributed numerous articles in Life Insurance Selling, The Business Journal, Nations Business, Employee Benefit New, Workforce Magazine, and others.

In the late 1977, an early mentor pointed out his suitability for the industry and supported his goals, prompting Mr. Goshkarian to study for and receive his insurance license while still in high school.

In 1978, joined the LoneStar Life Company and started selling voluntary products through associations. In a short 60 days, became the number one agent in the country.

By asking himself “how can I intelligently address market challenges?” Mr. Goshkarian learned to spot opportunities and identify niche markets. In 1979, this led him to successfully market life and health insurance to farmers and ranchers in four states.

In 1981, he served a tour of duty in England with the Air Force and attending the University of Maryland. After his tour was up in 1985, he stayed in Europe, joined Mutual of New York’s European division, and achieved marked success selling insurance services to expatriate Americans through his relationship with Price Waterhouse.

In 1989, Mr. Goshkarian came back to the United States and applied his skills to management, successfully turning around an almost-defunct branch of Mutual of New York. Applying his characteristic drive and determination, he was subsequently rated in the Top 100 of sales managers at Mutual of New York.

In the early 1990’s, Mr. Goshkarian turned his attention to worksite marketing full time, identifying opportunities that had been overlooked by insurance brokers. He applied his cornerstone philosophy, “people want to do business with people with integrity and honesty,” and worked to bring in a new generation of worksite marketing. He has developed a large client based, to include national clients with over 50,000 employees to as small as 50. He is licensed in 49 states and has work with several large consulting firms.

With no time wasted, Mr. Goshkarian continued to redefine standard industry practices and worked on a laptop-enrollment system to communicate core benefits (early 1990’s) and voluntary benefits. It was one of the first of its kind, and a big success.

In 2002, he focuses his time to develop the individual impaired risk health insurance marketplace in his home state of Arizona. Since 40% of those apply for individual health insurance are declined or have their condition excluded.

Which lead Wayne to the Patient Assistance Program’s. It was 3 years ago, that he was sitting with a 63 year old in Phoenix Arizona who needed health insurance, but was taking 6 medications for diabetes, high blood pressure and Rheumatoid Arthritis. This program provide over 1,100 name brand drugs sponsored by over 200 drug manufactures, which allows his company EZ Meds USA, to assist these lower income people with their medications.

Current EZ Meds and it’s partners has been supporting this marketplace for the past 8 years, and have customer in almost every state in the country.

EZ Meds and Wayne Goshkarian are based out of Scottsdale Arizona.

He is a father of three children, Ashley 8, Dylan 5, and Jack 3.
Greg Schlatter, miQuotes.com

Greg Schlatter, President, miQuotes.com – Stifeneb LLC.

Greg began his insurance career in 1980 as an independent property and casualty agent where he became proficient at selling all the products normally associated with an independent agency.  During the mid 1980’s he moved his focus into life insurance sales supported by his P&C clients.  Ultimately, his career took him to a life insurance company where he secured a position as a managing general agent. His focus was to develop and recruit agents.  In the years following, Greg became a Regional Vice President and Marketing Director of a MetLife subsidiary company totally focused on worksite marketing and managed the relationship of three nationwide distribution channels,  MetLife Financial Services, MetLife Resources and MetLife Auto and Home.  During this time he realized that insurance sold in the workplace should not be held captive to the traditional methods of worksite marketing where employers must bow down to the requirements of payroll deductions, list bills and on site enrollments.  Based upon these experiences, Greg founded miQuotes.com and began to take “worksite marketing” in a different direction by offering employer groups and associations the ability to offer quality individual insurance options without the need for payroll deductions, list billing, on-site enrollments or strict participation guidelines.   By offering individual insurance on a single and customized web based platform miQuotes.com has won the appeal of companies large and small to include national associations.  miQuotes has recently been acquired and is now part of the New Benefits, LLC family of companies and has recently added non-insurance discount medical and lifestyle benefits to their arsenal of products.  Contact information: gschlatter@miQuotes.com .
