AIG is the
world's leading international insurance and financial services
organization, with operations in approximately 130 countries and
jurisdictions. AIG American General is a leading employee benefit
insurance company that deals with employer-funded, voluntary and
supplemental products. We are currently looking for you to join our
underwriting team located in our Neptune, NJ or Houston, TX
location.
Underwriter
- Worksite
Eligible
candidates will have 3+ years experience of directly related
experience and prior experience in an
employer group market place for Worksite coverages.
Expectations include: Ability to evaluate risk, determine if or
under what conditions an offer will be made, calculate rates to be
offered and assume risk for groups of various size and complexity by
applying technical expertise. Preferred candidates
should have
exceptional communication skills required to coordinate,
communicate, and document resolution of every special account
problem, analysis, renewal or similar report/request. Proficient PC
skills including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Relocation
will not be provided with this position.
