Rob Shestack, CES Voluntary
Benefits Practice Leader The Trion Group |

Rob Shestack, CES:
With more than 20 years of employee benefit experience, Shestack
is the Voluntary Benefits Practice Leader and a member of the
Senior Management Team for The Trion Group. Shestack directs all
activity related to voluntary benefits for Trion clients. This
includes product development, carrier relations, strategic
innovation, and client communication and enrollment.
Shestack is a huge advocate of all voluntary
benefits, from Life Insurance to Identity Theft protection.
Specifically, Critical Illness tends to be a program that
Shestack favors quite frequently, not just from the benefits of
the product, but his own personal tragedies as well.

Prior to joining Trion, Shestack spent more than
four years as Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for
Univers Workplace Benefits (a USI Holdings Company).
In addition to his broad knowledge and expertise
in Consumer Driven Health Plans, ERISA/FMLA/COBRA Compliance,
IRS/DOL and Section 125 regulations, Shestack is involved on all
sales and marketing opportunities relating to Voluntary Benefit
strategies.
On an annual basis throughout the country,
Shestack teaches over 25 continuing education seminars on such
topics as Consumer Driven Health Plans, ERISA Compliance and FSA/HRA/HSA
regulations and plan administration.
Shestack has his degree in Actuarial Science
(major) and Business Law (minor) from Temple University and also
serves as a Risk Management and Insurance Capstone advisor for
their Fox School of Business Risk Management and Insurance
Department. Shestack also has his Health & Welfare certification
from the American Society of Pension Actuaries. |
