Justin Laughlin is assistant vice president of product development for health products at Colonial Life. He’s responsible for managing and developing Colonial’s voluntary health products, including hospital confinement indemnity, critical illness, cancer, group supplemental health and limited benefit medical plans. Laughlin formerly served as a director of finance and risk management. His previous work experience includes four years at Strategic Resource Company in the actuarial, underwriting and product areas. He also worked as an actuarial assistant at Colonial from 2000 to 2002. Laughlin holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Wofford College and a master of actuarial science degree from Georgia State University.

Frank Ferez is managing general agent of the South Carolina/East Georgia territory for Colonial Life. Since being named to this position in 2002, Ferez has led his territory to become one of the most successful in the nation, winning numerous company national awards for sales and recruiting. He joined Colonial in 1989 and worked in several key home office departments before his promotion to managing general agent, including marketing and customer service areas. Ferez is a member of the National Association of Professional Enrollment Specialists and an honorary member of the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Business Advisory Council. He’s also actively involved in local organizations, such as the Greater Columbia, S.C., Chamber of Commerce and the Lexington County Chamber of Commerce.
